MALDIVES REMAINS AS A SAFE HOLIDAY DESTINATION FOR TOURISTS...

The capital island of Maldives, Male’ experienced political turbulence since January this year. This has led to the resignation of President Mohamed Nasheed and Formation of a new government led by the former Vice president Dr. Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik on the 7th of this Month.

At this moment, we assure that Maldives and its hospitality remain perfectly safe to visitors to enjoy their holiday.

The Maldives is geographically formed by islands separated by sea. Visitors to Maldives land at the international airport in Hulhule Island, which is separate from Male’. Visitors are greeted at the airport and transported by speedboats or seaplanes to the private resort islands where they spend their holiday. Hence, visitors are assured a quiet and comfortable holiday in the country.

Male is one of the most densely populated cities in the world. A third of the population of the country lives in Male’. There exists no threat to the safety of ordinary residents in Male’.

Maldives welcomes tourists and assures the tourists intending to travel to Maldives on vacation, that their holiday will not be affected in any way since the resorts are geographically located separately from the Airport and the capital; Male’ City.

Unlike any other country in the world, the most unique selling proposition for the Maldives remains its one island; one resort concept, where each resort island is geographically located separate from each other and accommodating only its staff and the guests.
