Maldives Marketing and PR Corporation have launched its first sunny side of life e- newsletter today as part of social and digital media campaign to promote destination Maldives.
The main objective of the e-newsletter is to inform the relevant parties on the latest developments in the Maldives tourism industry and to maintain regular relationship with them. Furthermore, it will also help our partners to promote their products, offers and activities. The news letter will also be used as a vehicle to create destination brand awareness and help trigger booking for Maldives.
Maldives has a target of attracting one million tourists (target: 1 million) during 2012, the e-newsletter would also help to achieve this target. The recently appointed PR agencies for Maldives will use sunny side of life e-newsletter to feed info international PR networks. It is envisaged that it would give further leverage to destination marketing.
The e-newsletter will cover major tourism news about the destination, latest news and information from the tourism industry. MMPRC also encourages and welcomes any news worthy articles from resorts, travel agencies, live –aboard and other industry stakeholders to publish in the e-newsletter. The sunny side of life e-newsletter will be circulated on a monthly basis from 3rd May which is also world press freedom day.
