Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has announced it will commence operations to Malé, the capital city of the Republic of Maldives, on November 1, subject to government approval.
The Hon. Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture, Dr. Mariyam Zulfa together with the Managing Director of MMPRC, Mr. Simon Hawkins led a delegation from Maldives to the 45th International Tourism Bourse (ITB) held in Berlin, Germany from 09 – 13 March 2011.
