President Mohamed Nasheed has appointed additional members to the Board of Directors of Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation Limited.

The Board currently consists of Chairman of the Board Thayyib Mohamed Waheed and Managing Director of the Company Simon Michael Hawkins.

New members appointed to the Board and the sectors they represent are as follows.

1. Hussain Hilmy – Representing tourism industry
2. Ahmed Nazeer – Representing tourism industry
3. Fathimath Visha Mahir – Representing tourism industry
4. Yoosuf Rifath – Representing travel agents/tour operators
5. Fathimath Niuma – Representing foreign investments
