The MITT 2012 fair organizers awarded Maldives stand for its outstanding and contemporary design among all countries represented. The award was received on 21st March 2012, by Mr. Najumulla Shareef, Senior Marketing Officer in MMPRC.

This is the first time such a prestigious award being received by the Maldives since it starts to participate in the MITT fair 2012. MITT fair is the biggest tourism fair to be held in Russia. This year Maldives is being represented by 50 participants from Maldives Tourism Industry.
