    The fundamental requirement for the MMPRC is to insure they can identify the most influential global contacts and outlets across traditional and social media to promote the interests of the country. The MMPRC believes that the Maldives is distinctly unique and therefore can generate enormous news coverage and exposure. Our objective therefore is to correctly target the effective media lists to achieve this.

    The winning specialist will deliver adequately in the following areas: 

    PR Planner Online

    Media Contacts Database - Asia Pacific, European dataset
    > Comprehensive media database  
    > Daily updates - to remain current  
    > Flexible search options and list building tools  
    > Auto-updated lists and the ability to view changes to saved lists by contact or outlet  
    > Journalist profiles with live, real time Twitter handles, Facebook and Linked-In profiles, Google bylines and other social media links  
    > Weekly top performing blogs by topic  
    > Email newsletter alerting you to the latest changes in media  

    Search Engine Optimisation of Press Releases
    > Unlimited distribution of pictures & videos    
    > Social media sharing  
    > Web performance statistics and accountability  

    Press Release Distribution via Email/Fax
    > Text or HTML formats and sufficient distribution points  
    > Release statistics including individual open rates  

    Social Media Distribution
    > Post our release directly onto one or multiple Twitter, Facebook or Linked-In profiles etc.  

    Professional Services, Training and Support
    > Dedicated staff for support  
    > Online training by product specialist for back up  

     A 12 month contract with the MMPRC will be awarded - subject to a successful 3 month probationary period - and then reviewed every 12 months thereafter.  

    A two part selection criteria will be used for the selection of the specialist with 75% awarded for technical ability and compatibility and 25% for the financial bid.  

    Please provide the following information as part of the proposal:

    a) Brief history of the company - including country and date of registration and main office, total number of staff, existing clients, and examples of work conducted and any industry achievements / recognition in this field
    b) Clear and transparent cost/proposal for the services of a 12 month period
    c) Cost breakdown by region / territory and per ministry (or user) indicated
