Kuredu Island Resort in the northern Lhaviyani Atoll of the Republic of Maldives is the second largest island resort with the highest occupancy rate in Maldives. The island is 1.8 kms long, 325 meters wide, and has 300 meters long jetty. In all, Kuredu is with a total land mass of 335,870 square meters and it’s perimeter extends to about 3.5 Kms.

In addition, Prodivers, the Dive Centre on the island is the single largest dive operation in Asia complete with hyperbaric chamber with certified medical professional, and Water Sports centre with kite boarding, para sailing, etc., which are some of the firsts in Maldives. Consider the first Golf Club ever in the Maldives with a 6 holes par 3 pitch and put course with an average distance of 55 yards. The DuniyaSpa is a chapter in itself with a panorama of treatments carefully selected from the Orient lands to the thickets of Europe, and administered with oils and ingredients specially compounded and imported for their exclusive use.

Kuredu is home to the Prodivers PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center. In addition to offering the full range of PADI scuba diving courses, Prodivers also has one of the Maldives’ only dedicated snorkel centers.

In addition to having snorkel equipment for rent, Prodivers also offers a range of snorkel courses, including the very popular Turtle & Manta Ray Specialty Courses. The snorkel center also run daily trips to a number of snorkel sites around the Atoll.

With over 50 dive and snorkel sites on offer, variety is key around Kuredu. If you’re already a certified diver, check out some of the boxes on the right of this page to find out more about the latest happenings and fish sightings.

The multinational team of instructors can teach all the PADI courses from BubbleMaker through to Instructor. There are regular course starts throughout the week in various languages. It’s now possible to complete the theory sections of many of the PADI courses from the comfort of your own home with the eLearning Online Courses.

There are regular introduction dives in the shallow lagoon surrounding Kuredu throughout the week. If you want to get more of a feel as to what diving is about, there is also a 3 Dive Resort Course available for non-certified divers.
